Valais Confronts Its Colonial History What role did Valais play in Switzerland’s colonial history? On August 25, at the Arsenaux in Sion, UniDistance Suisse proposes opening the debate through the figure of André Perraudin, a Valais missionary who became an archbishop in Rwanda. A conference and panel discussion will bring together a historian, a filmmaker and a museum specialist to explore this little-known aspect of history and its legacies.
