UniDistance Suisse proudly hosted the 1st Matterhorn Symposium on Behavior, Institutions, and Cooperation from October 19 to 21, 2023. 50 researchers from Switzerland, Europe, and beyond gathered in Brig to dive into the latest findings in behavioral and experimental economics.

The symposium provided a space for stimulating intellectual exchange, covering a diverse set of topics, ranging from individual decision-making to the impact of institutional design on cooperation and economic and political preferences. The symposium’s format allowed to share novel research insights and provided space for deep discussions on methods and policy implications.

You can find out more about the program on the symposium’s website: www.matterhornsymposium.com.

A big shoutout to all the researchers, speakers, and curious minds that made the 1st Matterhorn Symposium a great success! We look forward to the next edition.
