Our laboratory adheres to the values of UniDistance Suisse: responsibility, integrity, innovation, and enthusiasm.
The research conducted within our laboratory encompasses studies on affective phenomena (such as emotions or preferences), linking cognitive and affective processes with food intake, and investigating certain cultural and identity factors.
We believe in the importance of maintaining scientific rigor in each of our research activities. This rigor manifests not only through a methodical and conscientious approach in the design and implementation of our studies, but also through a critical evaluation of data and a precise interpretation of results and their practical implications.
We provide a collaborative work environment and aim to engage in constructive discussions where everyone can contribute their feedback – we believe that a good idea is a good idea, regardless of the position or seniority of the person who suggested it.
We expect everyone to be treated with kindness and respect and strive to make each person feel comfortable in the laboratory. Therefore, we expect that everyone will be respectful to others, regardless of gender, nationality, sexual orientation, or age.
We learn every day; therefore, this philosophy is subject to refinement and improvement.
