Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships: UniDistance Suisse is eligible as a host institution for researchers from abroad

Every year, the Swiss Confederation grants Government Excellence Scholarships to promote international exchange and research cooperation between Switzerland and more than 180 countries. These Government Excellence Scholarships (Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students – FCS) are aimed at highly motivated, competitive young researchers who have completed a university degree. The scholarships enable applicants to conduct research in areas in which Swiss universities are particularly active.

UniDistance Suisse is eligible as a host institution for Government Excellence Scholarships to host on site scholarship holders from abroad from postdoctoral level. They can apply to spend up to 12 months in a research group at the university institute based in Brig.

The call for applications is open for Government Excellence Scholarships for the academic year 2025-2026.
