Swiss biathtlete
Bachelor of Economics graduate
« The adventure began, alongside my sports career, in September 2014, and I achieved my Bachelor's degree in Economics in spring 2019. A great feeling.
After completing secondary school, it was clear to me that I wanted to study alongside top-class sport, to secure my future on the one hand, and to train my mind and not just my body on the other hand.
Thanks to recommendations from other biathletes, I very quickly decided to do the bachelor's degree in economics at UniDistance Suisse, because the distance learning course offers a good basis for entering the world of work after sport, and it gives me many options in terms of my field of activity.
As an athlete, you are used to strict training plans and specific daily routines, but distance learning still requires a lot of self-discipline and perseverance. However, if you're passionate about something, it's easier to invest your free time in it, especially when you receive such great support from the student managers and lecturers, as at UniDistance Suisse.
Many doors are now open to me thanks to my business studies, even if I concentrate fully on sport in the next few years. »
