«Data protection is a subject that is currently increasing in importance. The revision of Swiss Data Protection Law that is under way involves many changes, in cantonal legislation too. We, as a public administration, must respect these changes in order to guarantee the protection of the data of our citizens and thus maintain their confidence. Moreover, one of the programme modules is aimed specifically at public administrations. During my studies, I was able to develop tools that will help protect the data and privacy of employees and citizens that are managed by the Vaud cantonal administration. I now hold a recognised diploma in data protection, which is a major advantage for my career and my credentials in this field.»
