PhD or Postdoctoral Researcher in Cognitive Neuroscience

To support our team, we are looking for a committed personality as of now:
PhD or Postdoctoral Researcher in Cognitive Neuroscience
Place of work: Brig
Activity rate: to be agreed
Start of work: August 1st 2025, or later by agreement
Your tasks:
- Research in cognitive neuroscience of memory, perception and consciousness
- with electrophysiological methods
- The specific projects the applicant will be involved in will be determined based on their skills and interests. Possible projects include:
- research on mind-wandering, involving online studies and experience-sampling
- research on concept learning, involving online studies, sleep studies and intracranial recordings - Assisting in teaching on the bachelor’s and master’s level in topics and methods of cognitive neuroscience and psychology
Your profile:
- Master’s degree or PhD in psychology or other relevant field to the cognitive neurosciences
- (e.g., medicine, physics, computational science, neuroengineering...)
- Knowledge in a programming language used for data analysis (e.g., R, Matlab, python) or
- strong interest and capability in acquiring such knowledge
- Strong interest and basic knowledge in topics of psychology and cognitive neuroscience such as memory, perception or consciousness
- Good knowledge in German (teaching language) and English
- Experience in scientific writing and publishing is a plus
