UniDistance Suisse, as an accredited university institute in accordance with the Swiss Higher Education Act (HEdA), has been offering bachelor’s and master’s degrees programmes and continuing education and training programs in the faculties of Law, Psychology, Mathematics and Computer Science, Economics and History for over 30 years. Chief Information Security Officer - CISO (80-100 %)

Place of work: Brig (partial teleworking possible)
Start of work: immediately or by arrangement
 

Your tasks

• Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive information security programme.
• Identify, assess, and prioritise security risks, as well as develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct security audits, penetration tests, and security assessments.
• Create and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Coordinate security investigations during security incidents.
• Train employees and students to raise awareness of security best practices.
• Develop partnerships with external security organisations and experts.
   

Your profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security, or equivalent education.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in information security, preferably in a university environment.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing information security strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and team skills.
• Native German or French speaker with proficiency in the other language and English.
