How can we ensure the integrity of remote assessments in a time of generative AI? 

Over the last three years, Australian universities have engaged in extensive reform efforts to address the challenges that generative AI poses to assessment integrity. Drawing on his experience in national working groups, his own teaching and research in distance education, and the implementation efforts at Monash University, Prof. Tim Fawns will share the diverse strategies adopted across Australian institutions and the challenges they have faced. What lessons can we take from Australia’s large-scale assessment reform to strengthen academic integrity and rethink how we design for learning in a digital world?
