Dr. Ahmad Zein Assi has a multidisciplinary background and graduated in 2010 with a degree in engineering, specialising in mathematics and physics, from leading universities in France, where he was awarded the Outstanding Leadership and Investment Award. He then went on to obtain a PhD with distinction in theoretical physics from the Centre for Theoretical Physics at École Polytechnique in Paris in 2013. Since 2019, he has been working as a scientific officer at the Swiss National Science Foundation in Bern and expanded his skills in 2024 with a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Data Science & Management at HEC Lausanne and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
With over ten years of experience as an accomplished scientist in solving complex problems and leading national and international projects with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams, Dr. Ahmad Zein Assi brings comprehensive expertise in data, research and leadership to UniDistance Suisse.
