Valentine Savary is a PhD student in psychology at UniDistance Suisse. She holds a Master’s degree in neuroscience and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Geneva. She has a particular interest in emotion regulation and its applications to individual and societal challenges.
Her doctoral research examines how humour can be used in climate change communication to prevent and correct misinformation. More broadly, her research interests include affective science, humour, science communication, and the development of evidence-based interventions. Before beginning her PhD, she contributed to several applied research projects involving emotion-regulation interventions, serious games, and research with children, adolescents, and clinical populations.
