On Friday, 19 June 2026, the Campus in Brig will host the second Valais Criminal Law Conference. This year’s edition is dedicated to the highly topical theme “Criminal Law in the Age of Deepfakes”.

The conference will bring together experts from academia and practice to discuss the legal challenges posed by emerging digital technologies. Particular attention will be given to how criminal law can respond to the increasing spread of deepfakes and what adjustments may be required.
