This workshop is organized in the framework of the SNSF-funded project Organised Business and Environmental Governance in Western Europe (1945–1995).

The workshop brings together scholars interested in integrating emotions into the history of capitalism and business history. It aims to foster reflection on the methodological challenges involved in researching emotions in economic contexts, while encouraging cross-disciplinary dialogue on relevant concepts, theories, and analytical approaches.

Participants are expected to read the four draft papers in advance to facilitate in-depth discussion and constructive feedback.
