The Grants Office informs and advises the researchers at UniDistance Suisse researchers on all aspects of research & innovation funding. It supports researchers from all career stages on funding opportunities that support their academic careers.

The Grants Office provide support throughout the entire funding cycle: assistance in the search for suitable funding instruments, preparation and submission of applications, as well as support for the administration and valorisation of awarded research funds.

Early career researchers as priority

Talented and motivated early career researchers are essential to advancing science. UniDistance Suisse is therefore committed to attracting outstanding emerging researchers and supporting them at every career stage in securing competitive third-party funding.
In particular, “Seed Funding” is available to support preparatory activities that strengthen methodologies, collaborations, or preliminary evidence, enhancing the scientific quality and competitiveness of subsequent external funding proposals. Further down the line, successfully secured competitive third-party funding may be supplemented by an internal “Matching Grant” proportional to the total funding acquired.
Early career researchers presenting their research at recognised academic events profit from “Research Visibility Grants” that cover participation costs.

Support Services Continuum

We offer our services in close collaboration with Finances, the Graduate Campus as well as the Rectorate Support Office and consider our services as one segment of the portfolio of support services to researchers at UniDistance Suisse.
