Francesco Zerman is a postdoctoral researcher in the Number Theory group at UniDistance since May 2024. Before this, he obtained his Ph.D. at University of Genova under the supervision of Stefano Vigni.
His research interests are mainly in algebraic number theory. He mostly focuses on the study of the arithmetic of Galois representations, in particular those coming from elliptic curves and (families of) modular forms, and their associated L-functions. He is also working on the explicit computation of some numerical invariants attached to rings in positive characteristic.
