Victoria Basualdo holds a BA from the University of Buenos Aires and an MA, MPhil and PhD in History from Columbia University (New York). She is a researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Research in Argentina and coordinates the program “Labor Studies, Trade-Union Movement and Industrial Organization” since 2009. She is the author of many academic publications about Latin American and Argentine labor and economic history. One of her central research projects focuses on corporate accountability for human rights violations during the Cold War dictatorships in Latin America (particularly Argentina, Brasil and Chile), which builds bridges between interdisciplinary research and legal prosecution.
